According to Wikipedia, “In Greek mythology, Medusa also called Gorgo, was one of the three monstrous Gorgons, generally described as winged human females with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Those who gazed into her eyes would turn to stone. In a late version of the Medusa myth, by the Roman poet Ovid, Medusa was originally a beautiful maiden, but when Poseidon had sex with her in Athena’s temple, Athena punished Medusa by transforming her beautiful hair into horrible snakes.” So, although seemingly a villain, there’s so much more to her than meets the … eye. (Pun not intended!)
A very ambitious project that took way longer than expected, was way more demanding than expected and … didn’t come out as expected! I used countless references and changed my mind about the composition countless times. Needless to say I feel strangely connected to Slytherin now.
